Welcome to Beta Theta Pi's Fall Rush 2011
Fall Rush is an exciting time at Texas A&M. You will have the opportunity to get a taste of Greek life as a member of each fraternity on campus. During this process you will discover which fraternity fits your character and personality best.
Currently, Beta is at a very exciting point in its chapter history as it is in the process of renovating our lodge. By next Fall, Beta will have a lodge with an all new front entrance, a newly constructed parking lot, and an inside wall lined with stained wood to ensure the overall quality atmosphere of the house. Many parties, meetings, and events will be hosted there, making it a great time to be a Beta at Texas A&M.
Beta Theta Pi begins its Fall Rush in the summer with several events including lake parties, ranch and tubing trips, and other fun, informal get-togethers. These informal events allow you, the Rushee, to get to know each member of the chapter before formal recruitment at the beginning of the spring semester.
During the weeklong formal recruitment, Beta will host an event each night. These events include Meet the Betas, Skeet Shooting, and Fajita Night to name a few. Formal recruitment culminates in our Banquet on Thursday and Bid House on Saturday.
Fall Rush at Epsilon Eta is a great time to get out, have fun and meet the guys. We look forward to getting to know each of you individually and collectively. If you are looking to commit to something truly worthwhile, develop lifelong friendships, and become a leader at Texas A&M, then Beta may be just right for you. Again, We look forward to seeing you this summer.
Thanks and Gig’em,
W. Taylor Baycroft
